The two-year iGCSE programme at Regents is offered by the examination boards Edexcel and Cambridge and is one of the most challenging academic programmes that provides Year 11 students with essential skills to undertake the prestigious two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), starting in Year 12.
These mock exams provide the perfect chance for students to experience writing out full exam papers in their various subjects under real exam conditions in preparation for their official exams in May and June. The results of these mock exams provide a key opportunity for students and teachers to work together to identify their strengths and weaknesses for each subject; giving students clear support and guidance on achieving their very best.
At Regents we are always very proud of our students’ successes and 2018 was in fact, our best year yet for iGCSE results, with 85% achieving A*-C grades!
Our IBDP exam results are also consistently above world average, with last year’s highest score being 41 points. For the past 16 years, Regents has been offering this programme to our students, helping them to be ambitious and achieving their dreams of embarking on further education at some of the world’s top universities.
At Regents, our specialist staff are experts at creating personalised support programmes for students with additional educational needs. That’s why, throughout October we are celebrating Dyslexia and ADHD Awareness Month.
