This CCA is part of the 'service' pillar of the Round Square IDEALS, as our students play games with the children, introduce them to different crafts, and form long-term friendships.
On Sunday 5 November, the students organised a trip to the Monsters World Aquarium for the children from Haven Children's Home. There were 32 children in total, ranging from 3 to 16 years old.
Our students did an amazing job at organising the children into groups and were responsible for supervising them throughout the trip. After having lots of fun at the aquarium, we took the children to a nearby restaurant for a delicious meal of fried rice with seafood, followed by some ice cream.
A special thanks to the students who did a fantastic job to help organise this trip: Saliha, Leonie, Chain, Jess, Shona, Jarin, Yonlada and Josh; and a big thank you to Saliha who generously paid for the visit.
This is just one of the many ways that Regents helps support our community partners.
At Regents, our specialist staff are experts at creating personalised support programmes for students with additional educational needs. That’s why, throughout October we are celebrating Dyslexia and ADHD Awareness Month.
