The reason I chose Thailand is because it seemed to be an attractive and mysterious country to be explored. Fortunately, both Appleby College and Regents International School Pattaya are members of the Round Square organization, which has given me the opportunity to live, study and explore Thai culture through Regents.
Though I’ve been at Regents for only ten days so far, I have already seen the school as a family unit. To be honest, I was not feeling homesick at all during my first night in the school residence. The strong and caring sisterhood makes me feel like home. The most impressive part of my exchange trip so far has been the colourful residential life. Living in the school residence provides me with a lot more chances to get to know the school and to socialize with people.
If you decided to go on an exchange trip to Regents, you definitely do not have to worry about how to fit into a new environment. Every student and teacher at Regents is helpful and welcoming to new people. I easily made many new friends in the first few days of my trip. My friends have introduced me to lots of school activities and encouraged me to join them. Now, I am a member of the school choir (see photo) and the school orchestra. These diverse activities enrich my free time and consummate my trip. I will never forget the joyful time I have spent with all the lovely people at Regents. This is a rich experience and a precious memory in my life. Thank you for having me.
