Mr. Ryan Manary, our IB educator, embarked on a transformative academic and professional path. The program of choice was offered by King's College London and facilitated through distance learning, demanding dedication and self-discipline.
Over the last months, we have worked closely with the American Chamber of Commerce and Glasswing Panama to partake in their San Miguelito Leadership Program. The program's aim is for organizations in the private sector to offer mentorship and training to leaders in public schools in San Miguelito, and benefit children through education and community development.
For the second consecutive year the Metropolitan School of Panama, in alliance with the PROED foundation, had the privilege of hosting Panamanian school teachers in a noble project that, since 2017, the PROED foundation carries out through its Diploma program in Innovative Strategies. The objective of the program is to create a memorable learning experience for teachers from schools in different regions of the country, which directly benefits their students and education in Panama. This program is endorsed by the Ministry of Education.

On April 21st, 2018 the Metropolitan School of Panama offered its annual training session to teachers from the Panamanian public system through the Ministry of Education's (MEDUCA) Program "Panamá Bilingüe".
At the Metropolitan School students in 11th and 12th grade complete their Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) projects, an essential part of the IB Diploma Program.
