The Metropolitan School of Panama (MET) proudly celebrated the graduation of 57 exceptional students, marking the school's ninth graduation ceremony in its 13-year history. This year's graduates, many of whom have been part of the MET community for over a decade, exemplified dedication, resilience, and a strong sense of camaraderie.

Students studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at the Metropolitan School of Panama have once again performed significantly above the global average.
The Metropolitan School of Panama was proud to graduate another 42 students, some of whom have spent more than 11 years of their education at the MET. The Class of 2023, the MET’s 8th graduation ceremony in the 12-year history of the school, was celebrated in June 2023.
Mr. Ryan Manary, our IB educator, embarked on a transformative academic and professional path. The program of choice was offered by King's College London and facilitated through distance learning, demanding dedication and self-discipline.
MET students achieve more than they may have thought possible. We believe there is no limit to what students can achieve socially, personally and academically. This year, our students’ academic results reflect our shared commitment to excellence.
The Panamanian Cultural Week is considered one of the most distinguished projects held annually at the Metropolitan School of Panama. Since opening in 2011, every November the MET family joins in the celebrations, dedicating a week to learning about the customs and traditions of Panama, where all members of our educational community have the opportunity to participate in interesting workshops and a folkloric gala, paying tribute to the host country.
Although this year's event looked different to previous years, here at the MET we were determined to ensure that the graduation ceremony was a special moment for our Class of 2020 graduates.
We are proud to share that our 2019 graduates achieved exceptional results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP). For the 2018-2019 academic school year, MET DP graduates achieved a pass rate of 92%, significantly higher than the international average of 80%.
Playing competitive sports can teach students many positive social behaviours and life skills, but above all they realise that true competition is about working on themselves.
