Last week, Léman International School Chengdu hosted the much-anticipated Nord Anglia China Region Multi-Sports Festival, bringing together over 160 upper primary students from international schools across China for two action-packed days of competition and camaraderie.
For the first time in many years, young athletes travelled from different regions of China to participate in a thrilling showcase of athletics and football. The event was a resounding success, filled with electric energy, determination, and the forging of new friendships.
A Festival of Sports and Team Spirit
The festival provided students with the opportunity to compete in a variety of track and field events, as well as exciting football matches. From sprinting and throwing to tacking and shooting, the students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
The atmosphere was unforgettable—cheering teammates, encouraging coaches, and the shared joy of participation made the event truly special. Many students who had never met before bonded over their love of sport, creating connections that will last well beyond the festival.
