Léman International School's Unforgettable MUN Trip to Dalian

A group of 12 brave and enthusiastic students from Léman International School Chengdu embarked on an exciting MUN journey to Dalian from March 14th to March 17th. 

Day 1

Journey to Dalian:Filled with excitement, the LIS students gathered at the airport, ready to embark on their flight to Dalian. They chatted about the upcoming conference and got to know each other better during the journey. 

Once they landed in Dalian, the students experienced the refreshing coastal breeze and the lively atmosphere of the city. They quickly made their way to the renowned Hard Rock Hotel, where they would be staying. The hotel's unique rock 'n' roll theme added an extra fun element to their MUN adventure. 

Day 2 and Day 3

Engaging Conference Days:The conference, known as DAISMUN XIV, commenced with great energy and enthusiasm. LIS students actively participated as delegates from different countries, engaging in thought-provoking discussions, debates, and problem-solving sessions. They tackled global issues with determination and demonstrated their diplomatic skills. The students engaged in lively discussions with fellow delegates from other schools, exchanging ideas and broadening their perspectives. These interactions fostered lasting connections and a sense of global citizenship. 

During their time in Dalian, the students not only dedicated themselves to the conference but also explored the city's cultural delights. One notable experience was visiting Russian Street, a historic street in Dalian. They immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, enjoyed the architectural beauty, and savored the flavors of Dongbei cuisine, a local culinary specialty. 

Day 4

Return Home with Cherished Memories:As the conference came to an end, it was time for the LIS students to bid farewell to Dalian. With hearts filled with cherished memories, they packed their belongings and prepared for the journey back home. They reflected on the transformative experiences they had during the trip and the friendships they had formed.

The MUN trip to Dalian was a remarkable experience for the LIS students. As the LIS students returned home, they carried with them cherished memories, newfound knowledge, and a deeper understanding of global affairs.
