After School Activities

After School Activities - After-School-Activities

Our students have start attending our "After School Activities Programme." Children from Reception age up, stay after curriculum hours to benefit from our after-school activities, which are extra curricula, and are aimed at enriching our student's knowledge skills, and understanding in a large range of areas, twice per week.

Our Primary ASA

Primary-age children were able to choose from a wide range of offers such as Theatrical Society, Early Years STEAM in our dedicated maker space, football, Cultural Chinese-themed activities including calligraphy, mindfulness and wellbeing, coding, Augmented reality and animation, swimming, origami and student journalism.

One of the main benefits of extracurricular activities is giving children a chance to explore something they are interested in that isn't offered during traditional school hours.

These activities can keep children mentally engaged and, depending on the activity, physically active. Our specially designed ASA programme help students of all ages develop the social skills that they will need as adults and provides opportunities for leadership, cooperation, and peer interaction.

Our Secondary ASA

Season 1 of our after school activities (ASAs) has started, with our teachers providing fun and engaging extra-curricular classes for all our students.

Each season, students can attend two after-school activities of their choosing and are free to select activities based on their interests. This season, we have many activities that students are taking part in. From martial arts to tabletop gaming, math competitions and sewing, there is truly something for everyone to join and engage with.

After school activities are an integral part of student life at Léman International School. These activities allow our students to improve their current skills and provide them with opportunities to be ambitious and try activities they may have never experienced before. All our ASAs are developed and designed by our diverse and experienced academic team that provide a platform for further developing students’ transferrable skills.

In secondary school, students are supported in documenting and recording their after-school activities to help them build a portfolio of extra-curricular involvements that can be used for future university applications. Something our previous graduates have found extremely useful.

Although ASA season 1 has just begun, we are already planning for season 2 and look forward to receiving feedback from both parents and students to make season 2 even more memorable than season 1.
