Vanessa Sharma graduated from UCA in Canterbury with a BA (honours) in Fine Art and went on to gain a PGCE in Primary Education from Kingston University.
Vanessa is from Poole in Dorset and spent three years teaching in the UK before making the move to Singapore. She has taught a range of age groups and loves being a teacher because every day is different.
Having studied Fine Art at university, Vanessa has a passion for inspiring children through art and she loves to plan creative and engaging lessons. She believes learning is its best when it is purposeful, relevant, and cross-curricular. Vanessa loves to see children become inspired by a topic and encourages them to ask questions and discover new things for themselves.
Outside of school, Vanessa enjoys keeping fit, cooking, and travelling. She has made the most of the opportunities to travel from Singapore and has enjoyed visiting many countries and learning about different cultures.
