Selina Festus graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with BA (Hons) in Sociology. Following this, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education at the University of Chester and is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Leicester.

Upon completion of her degree, Selina taught in a reputable, American School in Doha, Qatar teaching across the primary age range. Selina was appointed the role of instructional coach which she held for four academic years. During this time, she gained invaluable experience as a member of the Senior Leadership team, and acquired a vast amount of innovative, pedagogical knowledge.

Selina is a reflective educator who commits herself to providing students with unique learning opportunities that enable them to practice kindness, curiosity and self-regulation. She carefully considers the learning environment, and ensures that students’ voices are valued.

Outside of the classroom Selina enjoys reading, cooking and travelling. She has a personal interest in general health and fitness and leads an active lifestyle, going on regular walks, bike rides and day trips with her young family.
