Rebecca Turvill

RB class teacher
Rebecca-Turvill

Rebecca (Bex) Turvill graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol with a Primary Teaching degree, specialising in Early Years in 2015. After graduating, Bex worked for a year in Reception at a private school in London. She then spent the next 3 years teaching both Nursery and Reception in a state primary school in London where she was also Music Lead.

Starting in Nursery and later moving to Reception, Bex has spent 3 years working for Nord Anglia in Hong Kong.

After having the experience of teaching different year groups and working with children from different backgrounds, Bex really values the importance of communication and language and a strong and stimulating environment. She believes that strong teaching which is both engaging and practical in the Early Years helps build the platform and love for future learning.

In her spare time, Bex loves travelling to new places, hiking, and playing sport. She is a keen hockey player and loves playing tennis.

A great deal of time and effort has gone into the structuring of classes for August, with staff considering each individual’s strengths, friendship choices and areas of development, in order to do their very best to create classes that are well-balanced. Due to the interrelated nature of the class composition, movement of students to other classes is not possible. Please do understand that this is a complex process and that every effort has been made to place each child into an environment in which they will thrive.
