Rachel Ng graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a BA (Hons) in Sociology and started her journey in the education industry as an English curriculum specialist. Realizing that her passion lies in teaching, Rachel then went on to complete a PGCE at Liverpool John Moores University.

Rachel most enjoys teaching Key Stage 1 and has moved on to teach a variety of subjects besides English. As an avid reader, Rachel takes any chance she gets to introduce new topics through books and reading to the children. Rachel believes that every child’s achievement should be celebrated and that a happy child learns best. She strives her best to empower students with valuable life skills as well as provide them with opportunities to develop critical thinking skills in the classroom. Also passionate about creative self-expression, Rachel encourages students to hone creativity by experimenting with different forms of art in the classroom.

When not in school, Rachel is usually baking up a storm in the kitchen. She especially loves piping buttercream flowers and occasionally likes to do some painting and craft work. Besides that, all her time is spent with her two wonderful cats, Pepper, and Peanut.
