Rachael Cox graduated from Lancaster University with BSc Psychology in Education and went on to complete a PGCE in Primary Teaching at the University of Winchester.  

Whilst studying, Rachael was a member of the university netball team and social secretary for her university college. Having enjoyed several primary school placements throughout her college and university life, Rachael then moved down to Winchester to complete her PGCE in Primary Teaching which she passed with Master’s Credits.   

During her time in London, Rachael taught across a range of year groups, as well as coordinating the library and leading both the school netball and cross-country teams. Keen to bring her love of sport to her school, she was promoted to leader of learning for PE.    Out of school, Rachael is a keen runner, having completed multiple half marathons, a series of Tough Mudder events and the London Marathon.  Rachael is also an avid traveler having spent several summers in Europe and Southeast Asia and has enjoyed being able to explore more of this part of the world.
