Pan Ye gained her teaching qualifications at the Jinan University, China, studying education, where she specialised in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Pan Ye joined Dover Court International School from the Singapore American School where she was a member of the teaching team for several years. Prior to this, Pan Ye taught at Stamford American International School for three years where she took on the role of immersion class teacher assistant; this was particularly enjoyable for her as she loves teaching two languages and exploring differences and connections between the two. Her studies in teaching Chinese as a foreign language were perfect for her as it combined her two main passions: working with children and exploring the Chinese language and culture.
Outside school, Pan Ye enjoys travelling and visiting new places with her family. When she is not teaching Chinese, she enjoys reading and jogging.
