Morven Mackintosh

KS3MM form tutor
Morven-Mackintosh

Morven has a huge passion for musical theatre and has also been involved in Girlguiding since she was fifteen years old. She qualified as a Brownie leader at 18 and has enjoyed running Girlguiding groups over Scotland. It has allowed her to use her joy for arts and crafts linking it to many different subjects.

Qualifying as a geography and politics teacher, Morven taught in the village of Fort Augustus, home of Loch Ness and the Loch Ness Monster. However, after two years in Fort Augustus, she failed to spot the famous Nessie! Working in a small school with small class sizes allowed Morven to give her students tailor made lessons and gave her the opportunity to teach many different subjects including geography, politics, RME, drama and personal and social education. Morven also enjoyed running the Drama club and putting on productions such as ‘War of the Vegetables’ and ‘Alice and Wonderland’. Morven moved to teach at an Additional Support Needs at a school in Inverur.
