Lindsay Gathercole graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Psychology, going on to gain a PGCE in Primary Education from Roehampton University.  

Originally from Surrey, Lindsay moved back to teach in Early Years for three years. Lindsay first began her international teaching career working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, first in Early Years and then going on to work in Learning Support, teaching students in Key Stage 1. Lindsay then moved to Australia, tutoring and teaching across a range of year groups and settings. Her passion for supporting students with additional needs began during her degree, and she has been pursuing this interest ever since throughout her various roles. On returning to the UK, Lindsay was appointed as a teacher in a special needs school in Bristol, supporting students with a range of complex needs. 

Lindsay is passionate about supporting and celebrating learning differences. She strives to ensure those within her care are nurtured holistically to become confident young people in an environment that is inclusive, engaging and, most importantly, enjoyable, so that all students can fulfill their potential.
