Miss Joyce graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Psychology with Education Studies. She continued her studies, gaining a Secondary Psychology PGCE at the University of Wolverhampton.
During her time teaching, Miss Joyce enjoyed teaching a range of subjects within the social sciences, including Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Health and Social Care. Whilst also teaching Religious Studies. Her particular interests lay with Psychology and Criminology. She has enjoyed mentoring trainee teachers and coordinating career days such as ‘meet the professional’ day involving professionals from the field of health and social care and Psychology.
Miss Joyce enjoys activities outdoors and has a particular interest in hiking. She recently completed the ‘Coast to Coast’ challenge hiking 192 miles across the UK from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay, completing the challenge in 12 days. In her social time, she enjoys walking, cycling and reading psychological thriller books.
