Katie White graduated from the University of Manchester with BSci (Hons) in Physics, before completing her PGCE in Primary Education.
Following her graduation, Katie has worked in inner city Manchester, teaching across the primary age range before specialising in teaching children with special educational needs. Over the last four years, Katie has led her year group team, lead computing and developed provision for children with additional needs across the school. Katie takes pride in her inclusive approach to education and advocacy for all children to have their voice heard. She is very excited to be joining Dover Court’s inclusive environment.
Katie is enthusiastic about wider education and has led clubs across the curriculum. She has particularly enjoyed leading netball, computing and debate clubs. As part of her work with children with additional needs, Katie has focused on accessibility for all in wider school provision.
Outside of school, Katie is a keen reader and amateur cook. When she’s not travelling, Katie spends her free time exploring new places to eat or routes to hike!
