Ms Emmerson-Thompson graduated from Newcastle University with BSc in Biology and completed a Masters in Applied Professional Studies in Education at the University of Sheffield.
During her time teaching in the UK, Ms Emmerson-Thompson has taught all years and co-ordinated STEM club to promote engagement with STEM enrichment whilst highlighting cross-curricular links throughout the school and future work and study. Emmerson-Thompson ensures that all children are well challenged and supported.
Outside of school, Ms Emmerson-Thompson is a keen badminton player, loves to run and travel. She has travelled to many countries over the last few years including Australia, Thailand and Singapore, her most recent conquest was trekking to Everest base camp in the Himalayas.
