Mr Trett recently completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management at the University of Nottingham. He completed his Secondary PGCE at the University of Exeter, specialising in Information Technology and Computer Science teaching. Prior to teacher training, he graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information system.
Mr Trett has worked in international education for the past eight years, working in schools in both Vietnam and China. Mr Trett has held senior leadership roles in his past three schools, where he has been responsible for safeguarding, student behaviour, rewards, parental engagement, PSHE and management of the House System. As a Computer Science Teacher, Mr Trett is passionate about technology and computer programming, and takes great pride in supporting students to build their confidence and experience within the subject.
Prior to teaching, Mr Trett worked as an IT Analyst for a large insurance company and a business development executive for a technology distributor. He has also worked in the USA and South Africa as a sports coach in summer camps.
Mr Trett has a keen interest in health and fitness, where he enjoys golf, boxing, football and competitive running. In his spare time, Mr Trett enjoys travelling, exploring new countries, and learning more about their history and culture.
