Miss Humphries graduated from Newcastle University with a BA Honours degree in Geography. She further continued her studies at the University of Portsmouth gaining a Secondary Geography PGCE.
Miss Humphries has a particular interest in Human Geography, notably the areas of sustainability, population growth and urban environments. During her time teaching, Miss Humphries has also worked as a Head of Year across a variety of age groups and thoroughly enjoys providing pastoral support and guidance to her students. Furthermore, she has enjoyed being involved in extracurricular activities, such as netball coaching, alongside organising trips for pupils, for example to West End theatre shows. Prior to teaching Miss Humphries spent six months travelling through Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia before embarking on a three-year career in residential property in central London. Miss Humphries has experience working in the corporate property sector across Marylebone, Mayfair and Pimlico.
Miss Humphries is a keen netballer herself, having participated in the sport throughout her time at university and more recently at an established club in London. She is an active individual who is passionate about healthy living and enjoys a variety of activities in her free time including swimming, tennis, surfing, skiing and cookery.
