Gemma Bell graduated from the University of the West of Scotland with a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree in 2016.  

Gemma has always shared a passion for inclusive education and previously taught students with diverse needs for three years in Glasgow, Scotland. Gemma then pursued a role in an international Primary school in Malaysia to teach for a further three years as class teacher and held a middle leadership role as the Primary Assistant SENCO. From this, she has gained significant experience in inclusive practice, alongside current professional development from both International and British associations.  

Gemma believes a supportive and nurturing classroom environment is essential to develop curious and creative minds. By placing student voice at the core of all learning, Gemma develops purposeful learning opportunities to meet the individual needs and interests of every child. She believes fostering positive relationships is crucial in creating a culture of safety and curiosity where students can be inspired to fulfil their best potential.  

Gemma comes from a dance and musical theatre background and has enjoyed coordinating and leading various school productions, as well as dance and performing arts ECAs. She enjoys sharing her passion of the arts with her students and believes that drama and music can be an excellent avenue for self-expression.  

In her spare time, Gemma enjoys travelling and exploring new sights. She appreciates learning about new cultures, exploring historical locations, and trying a range of international cuisine.
