Gavin Corr

After studying mathematics and statistics at the University of Edinburgh, Mr Corr graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours. He completed his PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. He is currently studying for a Master’s Degree at King’s College London.

Since completing his training as part of the Teach First programme, Mr Corr has worked at schools in London, United Kingdom and in Hong Kong. He has taught mathematics across Years 7-13, including GCSE, A-Level and IBDP, and has taught statistics at GCSE level. Mr Corr enjoys fostering enthusiasm for his subject across all age levels and has supported students participating in mathematics competitions and challenges. He particularly enjoys the pastoral side of his role, enjoying guiding students through their examination periods and beyond as their form tutor.

Outside of the classroom, Mr Corr is an avid reader and lover of cinema. He has a keen interest in history and he enjoys learning languages.
