Originally from Cheshire in the UK, Gabi Eaton first three years of teaching were spent in Hertfordshire teaching Year 3. The following three years Gabi taught in Derbyshire across Key Stage 1, where she was a NQT and Bachelor of Education mentor as well as the lead for several curriculum subjects.
Following this, Gabi has enjoyed teaching across Key Stage 1 in Singapore, developing the maths curriculum, leading student leadership roles and being the Head of the infant school’s House system in her previous school. Gabi has a great passion for making memories within her classroom and delivers hands-on activities, allowing the children to gain invaluable experiences. She teaches with a creative and child-centered approach, making learning fun, relevant and meaningful for the children within her class.
She encourages an attitude of ‘we always try our best’ in the classroom and ensures the children are heard and that they know everyone’s contributions to class discussions are respected and supported.
Outside of school Gabi loves to go on adventures in and around Singapore with her young daughter and to explore new places. Gabi also has a passion for dance and has danced since the age of three and a half. She particularly enjoys ballet and contemporary dance and still takes part in classes and performances here in Singapore.
