Miss Li graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree with first class honours. She continued her studies there and gained a Master of Mathematics degree as well as a Secondary Mathematics PGCE.
During her time teaching, Miss Li has worked as a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 coordinator where she helped to mentor trainee teachers and helped to create a new Scheme of Learning for the new GCSE Maths syllabus. She has worked with students of a wide range of abilities, from supporting those with additional needs to mentoring gifted students, helping to guide and support them to achieve the best that they are capable of. She has also had experience in working at a boarding school, working as a boarding tutor, getting to know the boarders in an environment very different to that of the classroom.
In her social time, Miss Li enjoys a healthy lifestyle of yoga and Pilates, as well as hiking (when it isn’t too hot!). She is particularly proud of the fact that she completed the Hong Kong trail, walking 50km in one day, for a charity event. She enjoys travelling and exploring new places and making the most of experiencing the local culture. She also is happy to just curl up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good book.
