Emmeline Curtis graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA in English and History, before completing her PGCE in Primary Teaching. 

Originally from Berkshire in the UK, Emmeline’s first three years of teaching were spent in Southampton before she began her exciting journey teaching internationally. Since then, she has enjoyed teaching in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and now Singapore. Emmeline has worked across Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 during her teaching career and has loved the different challenges of each age group. In the classroom, Emmeline aims to develop a curiosity and passion for learning in her students. She is passionate about creating a supportive, nurturing learning environment where all children are encouraged to reach their potential by empowering them to take ownership of their own learning.   

Emmeline has always been an enthusiastic traveler and loves to explore her surrounding areas and discover new places. In her spare time, she is also an avid reader and is never far from a good book! Story time is her favourite time of day because she is enthusiastic about sharing this passion for reading with the children in her class.
