Since joining Nord Anglia, Emily has gained valuable experience as a subject leader. She previously led English literacy and worked hard to ensure that her students developed a love for reading. Emily firmly believes that fostering a passion for literature not only enhances language skills but also nurtures critical thinking and creativity. Through her efforts, she has observed the significant impact that reading has had on her students' academic performance in all areas of the curriculum.
Outside of the classroom, Emily enjoys playing a range of sports. Having played county level tennis in England, she continues to pursue her love for the game by participating in social matches. Additionally, Emily plays cricket and has proudly represented a women's team in HCMC, Vietnam. Alongside playing sport, Emily likes travelling and has visited many countries in Asia.
