Denah Kibene graduated from the University of John Moores, Liverpool with BA (Hons) in Sports Development and Physical Education. She then went on to attain her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Manchester Metropolitan, specialising in Early Years Education.
Following her graduation, has worked in ‘outstanding’ schools in Hong Kong, Singapore, Madrid, and inner-city London schools teaching across the Primary age range; from EYFS to Upper Key Stage 2.
During this time, she gained valuable experience as a member of the middle leadership team, leading Literacy, PE, and curriculum develop teams. Denah has successfully led in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for the last 5 years and is delighted to be leading the provision at Dover Court.
Denah takes great pride in her teaching style and learning environment, ensuring learning is always fun, creative, and visual, allowing children to grow and develop into independent learners and thinkers. For Denah, the magic of teaching is igniting in children a passion to learn and explore. It is her vision that children will carry this with them throughout their school years and into adulthood.
Denah is a keen basketball player and coach, having represented England in international competitions. In her free time Denah enjoys playing sports, attending art / photography classes, and exploring the Singapore food scene. Throughout her teaching career, Denah has travelled the world! She loves to learn about various cultures.
