Catherine Coleing

Catherine Coleing graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSC in Applied Social Sciences. During her studies she conducted research on the social experiences of children with Special Educational Needs, focusing on friendships and extra-curricular activities. She then completed a PGCE in primary education at Kingston University, passing with master’s credits. 

As a teacher, Catherine has worked with children with autism teaching both academic skills and social skills. She is also an experienced primary mainstream teacher and more recently taught at a sister NAE bilingual school in Vietnam.

Over her time as a teacher, she has gained a wealth of experience in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Catherine is passionate about teaching in an inclusive environment and ensuring that all children achieve their potential. She is delighted to be working at school with a shared philosophy where she can ensure all students in her care shine, thrive, and are valued. Catherine also enjoys running various extra-curricular activities such as STEAM clubs and construction clubs, allowing children to explore and problem solve.

When not at school, Catherine enjoys cycling, CrossFit, being outdoors and listening to live music. She also enjoys travelling and exploring new countries.
