Annie Richardson graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a PGCE. Prior to that she studied at Nottingham Trent University where she qualified with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design.
Before becoming a teacher, Annie spent a year in the fashion industry. Following that she completed a PGCE and then taught at a school in Cheshire in the UK. Annie enjoys using her creative expertise as a teacher by incorporating art and design into the classroom to aid and support teaching and learning. Annie has enjoyed exploring ways to bring iPads into the classroom, building upon her experience at her previous school to do so. She also enjoys using technology to enable students to create artwork and designs, using programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator and apps such as Forge and Brushes.
In her spare time Annie loves to dance. She began at the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since! She continues to learn Latin and ballroom dance here in Singapore and has also taken up ballet. Annie also loves travelling and exploring different cultures. Lifestyles and natural landscapes are of great interest to her and so she travels as frequently and as far as possible whenever she can do so, taking photos as she goes.
