Alice Clark

3C class teacher
Alice-Bagshaw

Alice Clark graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a BA Hons degree in Primary Education. She began her teaching career close to where she grew up in Cambridge in the UK and then moved further south to teach near Exeter and enjoy the Devonshire beaches and moors. She then moved to Hong Kong where she gained experience of teaching in Asia as well as an international school.

During her time at university, Alice was a keen netball player and trampolinist. She has a competitive team spirit which always meant she was training and practicing hard to perform at her best for her team.

In the first few years of teaching, Alice taught across both Key Stages 1 and 2. She has coordinated both English, maths and PE across the schools she has been part of. Alice has a passion for being active and the great outdoors. She led the netball teams in each school she taught, took gymnastics teams to competitions, organised team runs around the villages as well as organising whole school dance shows and festivals.

Alice is a huge believer of ‘hands on’ learning and bringing learning to life. She makes her lessons dynamic and engaging to ensure the children are motivated and enthused during their time in school. Building a love of learning is a passion of Alice’s and she always makes it her aim to ensure every child enters and leaves her classroom eager to know more.

In her spare time, Alice is a keen hiker and runner. She has completed two marathons both in London and Brighton as well as completing nearly every hike across Hong Kong. Alice is also currently on a dragon boating team, training each week and representing her team in different races each season.
