Over the last two weeks, Year 4 have embarked on an exciting trip to the Science Centre to learn more about electricity.
The trip was a chance for the students to use all the knowledge they have learnt so far in our IPC Unit ‘Bright Sparks'. They were even able to challenge themselves by looking at the differences between parallel and series circuits. In addition to this, they were able to use a fuse in the circuit and see what happened when the fuse blew! The students also had the opportunity to explore the Science Centre and watch the Telsa Coil show. Year 4 have modelled some of the key personal goals during the trip including: collaboration and enquiry. Our Year 4 students certainly are ‘Bright Sparks’.
