To further support our community in understanding and navigating changes regarding the school’s cellphone policy, we are excited to announce a summer book club featuring "The Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt. This insightful book explores the impact of technology on our youth and offers valuable strategies for parents and educators to help young people lead healthier, more balanced lives.
Book Club Details:
- Book: The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
- Reading Period: Throughout the summer
- Discussion Series: A series of coffee talks starting in late August – continuing through first semester. Meeting time and place is TBD but we and we will take suggestions from families on where and when is most convenient.
We invite all interested families to join us in reading this book over the summer. Our discussions will provide a platform to share thoughts, ask questions, and learn together. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with fellow parents and educators as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
