MIT STEAM Rollercoaster Challenge
The MIT STEAM Rollercoaster Challenge is coming! Please review the important dates and information below:
- April 24-May 11: Challenge
- May 12: Rollercoaster Exhibit
The following supplies can be brought by students from home, please send these items with your Middle School student if you have them:
- Cereal boxes.
- Straws
- Cardboard or paper rolls
- ‘Pringles’ tubes
- Juice/milk boxes (big or small)
More about the play:
- Original screenplay written by CDS students.
- Free entrance but attendees can give donations which will support organizations that work with teen mental health.

From the College Counselor:
This has been quite a year full of excitement and hard work with all AP classes. It seems only yesterday that our HS students were working or their schedules for 2022-2023. Now, the end of this journey is near. The AP Testing Session for 2023 will run from May 1st to May 12th. We send out our best to all those taking APs this year.
CDS is going circular. Through the Social Impact Leads, Ms. Manuela Peñalosa and Mr. Gerardo de Vega, CDS will begin its journey into Circular Economy and the celebration for Earth Day. The week of April 17th CDS Primary students will have different activities and a Summit on April 21. This Summit will also launch the celebration for all secondary students which will run from April 24 to April 27.
