Field Day is next Friday! Please send your child in sportswear for a day full of sports activities. It’s not too late to volunteer to help during field day! Please contact Fabiana Batres if you can help (fabiana.batres@cds.ed.cr).

More about Field Day

  • EC-1st grade students should bring their swimming gear
  • 2nd-5th grade students should bring a change of clothes and bag for wet clothes because we’ll participate in water games.
  • Students should label their water bottle and bring a refreshing snack like fruit.
  • 2nd-5th grade lunch will be at 12:40pm on this day so please pack an extra snack if your child is used to eating earlier.

EC Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Please use this link to sign up for conferences.  Sign-ups close on Monday.
ES Student-Led Conferences
  • Sign-ups are now open. Please click this link to sign up for a conference time that works for you and your child.
  • Childcare will be available for ES students who come for their student-led conference and need to wait while a parent attends another conference. Please come to the ES office if childcare is needed.
  • Student-led conferences are an opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning and share their work. During a conference families will hear about their child’s strengths and proud moments as well as current challenges.
  • Our students are spending time preparing for their conferences and are eager to present to their parents.
  • Teachers will not hold individual conferences with families during student-led conferences. If a teacher has specific areas of concern, the teacher will always contact families on an ongoing basis. If a parent ever has a specific concern, we also encourage families to request a meeting at any point in the school year.
