On Saturday 15th March, four teams of talented students from BSKL participated in the prestigious Garden International School Inter-School Science Conference 2025.

This highly competitive event brought together young scientific minds from various schools to engage in thought-provoking discussions and present their research on two crucial topics:

1) What’s the biggest obstacle to solving climate change, and what can be done to tackle it?

2) Implementation of AI and technology in marine exploration – how can it be used?

As part of the competition, each team had to submit a well-researched written pitch before the event and then deliver an engaging presentation on the day. The conference was packed with insightful talks, challenging Q&A sessions, and an atmosphere of academic excellence. Throughout the day, our students showcased their deep understanding of science and technology, tackling complex questions from judges and peers alike.

The level of competition was incredibly high, pushing participants to demonstrate not only their knowledge but also their ability to think critically under pressure. Our students rose to the occasion, displaying remarkable teamwork, resilience, and passion for their chosen topics. Dr. Ainsworth, who was involved in the judging process, can attest to just how close the competition was, with students delivering impressive and thoroughly prepared presentations.

A special congratulations goes to Emma, who received a well-deserved special mention during the awards ceremony for her outstanding presentation skills and the eloquence of her pitch. Her ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence truly set her apart.

BSKL Teams:
