INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Our school is open to children aged 2-18. We accept applications all year round and new students can start at any time.

Application and supporting documents

After filling in our enquiry form and taking a tour – either in person or virtually – you’ll need to complete your child’s online application form. You’ll also need to send us the following documents:

• A copy of your child’s passport or Malaysian IC card.
• Your child’s most recent school reports (in English).
• Any documents related to your child’s medical or additional learning needs (if applicable).

We’ll also ask you to nominate a current (or most recent) teacher to be your child’s reference. You’ll then need to pay our Application Fee.

Assessment and interview

Early years

We’ll invite your child to an in-class taster session where they’ll meet our teachers and spend some time with their peers. If you can’t make it to Kuala Lumpur, we’ll set up an informal online interview.

Primary

We ask prospective primary students to take a writing test, which can be completed either in person or online. Your child may also be invited to an interview with our Head of Primary.

Secondary

Your child will sit a computerised assessment, which can either be taken at BSKL or online. We may also ask them to an interview with our Head of Secondary.

Please note: If English isn’t your child’s first language, we’ll invite them to sit an English as an Additional Language (EAL) test.
