BSB won 2nd place in the Battle of the Books Round 2

The second round of the Battle of the Books competition concluded with great enthusiasm and outstanding achievements for BSB!

This event on 16^th January brought together 7 schools and 10 teams. Our 2 BSB Teams were represented by 10 talented students from Year 7, 8, and 9.

BSB Team 1 - Austin, Bruce, Maria Terese, Oscar, Yasmin

BSB Team 2 - Aditi, Adriana, Alec, Chris, Samaira

Their extraordinary performance was a testament to their passion for literature and their ability to think critically. In preparation for the event, students organised three practice sessions, during which they generated questions based on the texts, engaging in stimulating discussions and challenging one another.

Their collective efforts paid off, as they secured an impressive second-place finish in the competition.

As we reflect on this achievement, we eagerly anticipate the next round of the "Battle of the Books" competition, scheduled for March. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the students and express our gratitude to all involved, including the participating schools and their teams, for making this event a resounding triumph.
