“What a wonderful year we have had, in which we have been able to welcome our families and friends back into school. It has been a full and busy time, but exhilarating; it is truly an honour to be part of this lovely school!  Thank you for your support this year and hope you have a happy, safe and relaxing summer with your families.

To those of you who are leaving us for pastures new, you take with you our very best wishes for the future and we hope you will keep in touch.

For our returning families, we look forward to welcoming you back to the BSB family in September 2023 when we have an exciting year of sports, performance, trips, activities, challenge and learning ahead - get ready for the next fantastic year!”

“Looking back, who could have predicted the incredible journey we've had? From witnessing the reopening of China to resuming normal operations, it's been a year of resilience and determination. As the leader of the secondary school, I am immensely honored to have navigated through the challenges of the pandemic alongside our amazing students and staff. Amidst the uncertainties, one thing remained constant: our unwavering commitment to learning and student engagement. We faced what seemed like insurmountable obstacles, but together, we not only survived but thrived! 

To our amazing teachers and staff: Your commitment to our students' growth is commendable. Thank you for going above and beyond!To our supportive parents and community: Your trust has been invaluable. Together, we've created an empowering environment.

As we embark on a well-deserved summer break, let's cherish memories, recharge, and look forward to the future. I can't wait to see what's in store for us next year!

“In the Primary school this academic year our strong, positive relationships with our students have enabled them to thrive, to flourish, to make excellent progress and to be the very best they can be. Most importantly, we have had so much fun learning in classrooms, on the sports fields, in the theatre, on residential trips, in the computing suite and everywhere else we have been.

What great memories we have made and how wonderful it was to be able to welcome parents back into school this academic year. Wishing all our BSB Shunyi families a wonderful summer holiday.” 

We bid farewell to Ms. Nonie Adams who has had a very positive, impactful seven years at BSB and has been instrumental in making the primary school the happy, vibrant and successful environment that it is today. We will miss you so much Ms. Nonie!
