BSB Eco-Committee needs your help on #Call to Earth Day - 10 November

CNN has invited The British School of Beijing (BSB), Shunyi to take part in their first ever #Call to Earth Day on 10th November, 2021!

BSB is proud to support this global event, joining forces with schools, individuals & organisations across the world to raise awareness of environmental issues & conservation education. You can take part too!

In collaboration with UNICEF, all BSB students are challenged to participate in projects on the Sustainable Development Goals regarding social and economic development issues that we hope to collectively achieve by 2030.

Each year, our BSB Eco-Committee initiates sustainability programmes within our school community to try and reduce our ecological footprint, raise awareness of environmental issues and find solutions together.

On Call to Earth Day, all BSB students and staff will be doing several activities throughout the day.

• Everyone is encouraged to wear blue and/or green and donate 10 RMB which will go to the charity Team Trees.
• There will be no meat or milk in the canteen for the day, our chef has prepared a special menu.
• One lesson will be dedicated to Call to Earth topics such as Eating Less Meat, Plastic Pollution and Reduce, Reuse, Recycle etc
