New Year Get-Together: A Wonderful Start to 2025

The PTA chairman invited parents and teachers to a delightful New Year Get-Together at Hello Buda. The event, held last Wednesday on January 15th, brought together members of the BISB community for an informal evening filled with conversations, laughter, and a warm sense of connection.
Attendees enjoyed the cozy ambiance of Hello Buda while the world outside was blanketed in fresh snow, creating a magical atmosphere. Guests savoured different food and drinks as they connected with one another, shared experiences, and celebrated the start of 2025.
The event welcomed around 30 parents, who represented various year groups, making it a truly inclusive gathering. Many expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to unwind after the holiday season and connect in a relaxed, casual setting.
A big thank-you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the event’s success. Your presence made the evening truly special, and we look forward to more opportunities to come together in the future.
Knitting Club Donates Warmth to Romania

Since its launch in September, the Knitting Club has been buzzing with activity. A group of dedicated mothers and teachers has been knitting with love and purpose, creating handmade items to help those in need.
In December, their hard work paid off as they proudly donated their beautifully crafted gloves, scarves, and hats to Firm Foundation in Romania, bringing warmth and comfort to those less fortunate.
It’s not too late to join this inspiring group! Everyone is welcome to come along, and contribute to this wonderful cause.

Your PTA
On Monday, Year 6 had an exciting and unexpected visitor—a general from Hua Mulan’s army (played by Mr. Brown). The students were captivated as a letter from Mulan herself was read aloud, informing them that their enlistment in her army was required.
On Wednesday morning, Year 6 embarked on another adventure with a thought-provoking trip into the woods.
Year 8 Sapphire is raising awareness of sustainability as part of their Service-learning project.
We are excited to announce that if your child is in Years 1-3 you will soon be able to sign your child up for our first Spring Camp coming in April from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th.
