Seek Your Light

Laura Medcalf (b. Budapest, 1996), a British - Hungarian multidisciplinary artist. She earned her BA Hons degree in Fine Art in 2018 at the Arts University
Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

Medcalf’s practice is characterised by the exploration of the transience of the natural environment, meticulously capturing on paper with the involvement of ancient elements such as sand, wind, rivers, seas, and oceans. Inspired by the organic beauty of earth and water. Her work reflects a deep connection with nature, capturing the imprint of rare moments in each piece.

‘Seek Your Light’ invites viewers on an introspective journey along the ethereal
borderlines where the interplay of light, water and natural matter enhances the visual narrative, evoking a sense of wonder.
