20 students in Years 5 and 6 recently took part in the Primary Maths Challenge. Nuala and Athena achieved a Gold award and Vlada achieved a Silver award. Other students earned Bronze or Participation certificates. Some excellent scores were achieved and a lot of problems were solved. Some students will qualify for the bonus round in February.

Jason, Jaewoo and Allen in Year 12 took part in the British Maths Olympiad. They qualified for this 3.5 hour test after their outstanding performances in the recent UKMT Senior Maths Challenge. We await news of their performance.

On our most recent Hungarian trip the Year 12 students had a chance to explore the 20th century art movements in Hungary and also get a glance into the life of, one of Hungary’s greatest poets, Ady Endre.
The BISB WOLVES had an exciting and challenging end to Season 1, participating in the prestigious NAGGE (Nord Anglia Global Games Europe) U19 Volleyball Tournament, hosted by TBS, Warsaw. Last year, our boys' team returned as champions, and the girls' team earned a silver medal.
