RoboCup Junior competitions signups are currently underway!
RoboCup Junior is an international educational robotics initiative that has been inspiring young students worldwide to engage with STEM subjects through hands-on robotics competitions for over 25 years.
Participants can compete in differrent areas like building autonomous robots to play soccer against each other or to build rescue robots to navigate simulated disaster scenarios and locate victims, also teams can create robotic performances that combine technology, creativity, and storytelling.

Preparing for International Competition in Brazil
With commitment to continue the winning streak at international competitions in previous years, students can prepare for this prestigious event, in training sessions and workshops. Dedicated mentoring provide guidance and support, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to face the challenges ahead.
The first step towards the international stage is qualifying at the national level. The national qualifying will take place at springtime.
The 2025 RoboCup Internationals will take place in July in Salvador, Brazil.

Welcome to the BISB Christmas Story Advent Calendar! Each day you can enjoy the countdown to Christmas by clicking on the date and enjoying a Christmas story, poem or song from one of the teachers at Primary.
On Tuesday evening we welcomed the BBIS Girls' Football team to play in a Festival of Football celebrating the year so far. The whole event was played in a friendly and fun environment where the girls from both teams could show off their talents that they have been working on in training sessions.
This week in English, Year 8 shared their completed magazines in a collaborative press event. There was a lovely buzz in the classrooms, and we were very impressed with both the quality of the work produced and the professionalism with which they pitched their final products to each other and the Year 12 Muse students who came along as well.
This half-term, Year 9 have been studying H. G. Wells’ classic Science Fiction novel ‘The War of the Worlds’ in their English lessons.
