Exciting CCA News for KS3 Students

One really exciting new addition to our programme for KS3 secondary students will be the Visual Storytelling Film Club delivered by an external provider called Brian Faiola in conjunction with JAM Film.

Below you will find a little background info about the new CCA for parents who may be interested in signing up their children for the sessions. It will be a paid CCA and there will be limited places available, but it promises to be a really dynamic addition to our programme.

Visual Storytelling with Video*

... is a ten-session course designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of visual storytelling with video through a combination of brief lessons, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Students will work together in small groups, fostering knowledge-sharing and teamwork. Each student will learn basic video production skills, including storyboarding, shot composition, lighting, sound capture, and some basic editing techniques while fostering a collaborative and constructive approach to the creative process.

The course is taught by Brian Faiola. Hailing from Los Angeles, Mr. Faiola has worked for DreamWorks Animation in addition to serving clients such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Budweiser, KIA and the NY Mets. In Budapest, he runs a boutique video agency, JAM Film, that specialises in corporate video production.

Wishing you all a wonderful Xmas!
