Join our Open Morning for Years 1 and 2
This week has involved the search for the acting stars of the play. Congratulations to the following students who have successfully auditioned for a part:
Bruno Barath will play damaged battle veteran Commanding Officer Stanhope, who is conflicted by the arrival of a naïve school friend Raleigh to be played by Flora Zsoldos. Ege Can Demir will play Mason who looks after the officers in the trenches and adds a touch of sardonic humour to the Officer’s mess. Mira Bulyovszky will play the Sergeant Major whilst Anya Khelifi Coates will play cynical Hardy. Rebecca Majosi will perform the role of Officer Osborne who is affectionately known as “Uncle” to the men. Battle traumatized Hibbet will be created by Sneha Ghosh whilst Poorna Deshika Sathya Narayanan will place the highest-ranking officer in the Colonel who decides the fate of all of the men and would rather not be in the trenches at all. Finally, our youngest actor, Floris Henssen becomes German to portray a captured enemy soldier.
Rehearsals begin next week. Break a leg everyone!
