Join our Open Morning for Years 1 and 2
Last week was BISB’s House Week 3 and there were a variety of inter-house competitions that students could participate in including sports such as basketball, kick rounders and a scavenger hunt. Overall, there were many students involved in the House Week, especially the Haribo Hunt.
Here are some pictures from the Scavenger Hunt, where students were tasked to "Take pictures of objects on the school grounds that are the same colour as your House".
Points earned from the sports competition are as follows:
11 for Endeavour
9 for Calypso
6 for Discovery
3 for Kontiki
Points earned from the scavenger hunt are as follows:
360 for Calypso
220 for Kontiki
150 for Endeavour
30 for Discovery.
The winners of the Haribo Hunt were Finn, Evie, and Elsa in Year 7. Adding up the results, Calypso came first overall, followed by Endeavour, Discovery and Kontiki were joint third place. Thank you and well done to students who were involved in the House Week! We hope all the students have enjoyed it!

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
