Year 5 attended a special science lesson

Year 5 all attended a special science lesson where they dissected hearts. The lesson was led by Ms Uhure in the Secondary Science laboratory. This formed part of their Healthy Habits topic. Students are learning about the circulatory system. Looking closely at goats' hearts, the students were able to see clearly the right and left side of the heart. The experience reinforced their understanding that the heart is a muscle and needs looking after to increase the chances of a long and healthy life.
