We are very excited to announce our first Juilliard Alumna visit on Thursday 22nd March. Laura Careless is a UK born, New York based performing artist specialising in storytelling through dance and movement.
During her day at BISB Laura will be working with a number of groups of students from Year 1-12 offering a variety of workshops for these students. We are looking forward to her visit.
Laura Careless is a UK born, New York based performing artist specialising in storytelling through dance and movement. She is a graduate of The Royal Ballet School, the Ecole-Atelier of Maurice Bejart and The Juilliard School Dance Division, from which she graduated with the John Erskine Prize for Artistic and Academic Excellence. This prestigious yet eclectic background has led to a unique performance career which has established Laura as "A marvellously sensual dramatic dancer" (New York Times), and "Consistently one of the most interesting and dramatically detailed dancers on New York's stages" (Broadway World).

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
