We are Year 10 Jade, and for our Service-Learning project, we are working towards helping the unhoused in Hungary. Our work and vision are powered and inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 1 – No poverty.

On Wednesday 28th of February we visited the Benedictine Pannonhalma Archabbey to further our knowledge and to have an exciting experience with the topics we have covered. Such as the ‘old and Medieval Hungarian Literature’ and its history.
This year's World Book Day will be celebrated on Thursday, 14th March with students and staff dressing up as literary characters and a Spelling Bee in the Atrium at 1.15.

Students shelled out for a cracking evening at Cirque du Soleil's new theatrical egg-stravaganza on Thursday 8th February at the MVM Dome.
The Changemakers are launching the Global Campus Digital Habitat Competition. If your child is interested in animals and enjoys building in Minecraft, this could be the perfect opportunity to combine these passions and raise awareness for endangered and vulnerable animals. The task is to research an endangered / vulnerable animal and design a habitat for it to live in using a programme such as Minecraft. It is important to research the ideal habitat (physical environment) carefully and to create a space for the animal to thrive in, ensuring there is.
Starting from the first day of March until the end of Term 2, MUSE will organize an exciting creative writing competition that you wouldn't want to miss out on! The winner of the competition will get their piece of writing published in the prestigious MUSE magazine, receive 20 house points, and even get a free copy of the magazine featuring their work. Don't worry, even the second and third-place entries will get published, but they won't receive the 20 house points or the free copy.
Last week, on February 8th and 9th, BISB hosted the Term 2 SISU (Social Impact Student Union) Fair, bringing together various clubs focused on social impact.

The Year 1 students enjoyed their trip to the Óbudai Múzeum in connection with our curriculum topic about toys.
